2019…365 days…as we all look to 2020 and the start of a new year it’s important to have momentum heading into the future. But it’s equally as important to remember where we came from. In 2009 we started Take One…flying by the seat of our pants and no idea what we were doing. It was that wedding, Nicole and Bob…that we found our calling. To say we love love is too cliche. At Take One Films, having two people entrust us to capture all the moments and memories of one of the biggest days in their lives was what we were meant to do. We are not a jack of all trades…We are not going to try and do everything. Laura and Doug want to focus on being the best storytellers we can be and preserve all those moments that turn into memories.

So thank you to all our couples over the past 10 years that have supported and trusted us. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Over the past 10 years, Laura and I got married, became parents, business owners and most importantly even closer to each other. I couldn’t imagine doing this with anyone else. Laura and Doug keep pushing each other to become better filmmakers which in turn makes better films for our clients. We are not perfect, but we try and better ourselves everyday. Again, thank you to all our couples, their parents, wedding industry friends. It’s been a crazy and fun 10 years and we are looking forward to the next 20!!
